Lauren Kovac

Controller / SVP

Lauren Kovac

Mrs. Lauren Kovac joined the Jaindl Enterprises team in 2020 as the Controller and head of the Accounting Department. Lauren has more than twenty years of experience in accounting, business management, and human resource management and provides financial oversight to the Jaindl Enterprises family of companies. Her background includes public accounting, entertainment and communication, manufacturing, and public education.

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Albright College. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Development from Villanova University.

Shane Wirta

Director of Marketing / SVP

Shane Wirta

Mr. Shane Wirta joined the Jaindl Enterprises team in 2020 as the Director of Marketing and the head of the Marketing Department. Shane began his career in New York City, where he specialized in direct response television advertising. Throughout his career, Shane expanded his expertise to include online, print, and catalog advertising and the creation and implementation of marketing and sales strategy. Shane leverages his business proficiency to optimize operations and departments for customer acquisition and retention while maximizing cash flow and earnings.

Shane holds a Bachelor of Arts from Seton Hall University.

Pete Christakos

Pete Christakos

Mr. Pete Christakos joined the Jaindl Enterprises team in 2020 as the Portfolio Manager and Head of the Property Management Department. Pete began his career in the Golf Industry at the Golf Academy of America in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2011, Pete returned home to Eastern Pennsylvania and accepted a role in the Construction field. Since 2011, Pete has managed numerous large-scale commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects throughout Eastern, Central, and Western Pennsylvania.

Pete oversees the Jaindl Enterprises portfolio management, including Jaindl Properties, LLC and The Waterfront project in Allentown, PA.

Jen Bartholomew

Jen Bartholomew

Mrs. Jennifer Bartholomew joined the Jaindl Properties team in 2017. Born and raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Bartholomew has held a range of operations-based positions across some of the region’s largest employers, including Lehigh County and Lehigh Valley Health Network, before assuming her current role as Administrative Coordinator. Mrs. Bartholomew’s long-term experience in the Lehigh Valley is invaluable for ongoing operations. In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities across the Jaindl Properties portfolio, Mrs. Bartholomew programs and oversees the Jaindl Properties internship programs.

Mrs. Bartholomew lives in Allentown with her husband and two sons.

James Mehnert

James Mehnert

Mr. James Mehnert joined the Jaindl Enterprises team in 2018. Born and raised on Long Island, Mr. Mehnert has a range of diversified accounting experience, working primarily with engineering firms before assuming his current role. Recognizing the superior quality of life offered in the Lehigh Valley, Mr. Mehnert and his wife relocated to the area and currently reside with their daughter in Allentown. An avid baseball fan, Mr. Mehnert has visited more than forty-five baseball parks across the United States.

Mr. Mehnert holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from SUNY Albany and a master’s degree in Accounting from SUNY Old Westbury.

Mark W. Jaindl

Mark W. Jaindl is an entrepreneur, developer, banker, and philanthropist. Mr. Jaindl started his career with his father in the family business, where he worked as Chief Financial Officer. In 1996, Mr. Jaindl founded American Bank., a $700 million commercial bank, where he continues to serve as President, CEO, and Chairman. In 2011, Mr. Jaindl co-founded Jaindl Enterprises, a vertically integrated portfolio of family-owned companies based in Allentown, PA.

In addition to his business ventures, Mr. Jaindl volunteers his time as a board member and leader of multiple nonprofits throughout eastern Pennsylvania, including Camelot For Children, America On Wheels, and Good Shepherd Rehabilitation.

Chief Operating Officer / EVP

Zachary J. Jaindl

Mr. Zachary J. Jaindl is a businessman and philanthropist responsible for establishing cross-company synergies and maximizing efficiencies through innovation. As Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Jaindl Enterprises, Mr. Jaindl manages portfolio operations, real estate acquisitions, operations financing, project leasing, and general management of each division and their respective departments.

Since co-founding Jaindl Enterprises in 2011, Zachary has overseen each of the portfolio’s brands’ operational start-up, managed millions of dollars in real estate development and redevelopment efforts, and personally directs The Waterfront project: a $350 million lifestyle development along the Lehigh River’s western banks.
