Lauren Kovac

Controller / SVP

Lauren Kovac

Mrs. Lauren Kovac joined the Jaindl Enterprises team in 2020 as the Controller and head of the Accounting Department. Lauren has more than twenty years of experience in accounting, business management, and human resource management and provides financial oversight to the Jaindl Enterprises family of companies. Her background includes public accounting, entertainment and communication, manufacturing, and public education.

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Albright College. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Development from Villanova University.

George Christakos

Portfolio Manager

George Christakos

Mr. George Christakos joined the Jaindl Enterprises team in July 2021 as the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Portfolio Manager – Vice President and the head of the Property Management Department. Mr. Christakos has more than fifteen years of experience in the construction industry, specializing in Site Supervisor, Project Manager, and Foreman roles. George is a lifelong resident of Pennsylvania and currently lives with his wife in Hatfield, Pennsylvania.

George oversees the management of the Jaindl Enterprises portfolio, including Jaindl Properties, LLC and The Waterfront project in Allentown, PA.

Pete Christakos

Pete Christakos

Mr. Pete Christakos joined the Jaindl Enterprises team in 2020 and currently holds the title of Construction Project Manager – Vice President. Pete began his career in the Golf Industry at the Golf Academy of America in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2011, Pete returned home to Eastern Pennsylvania and accepted a role in the Construction field. Since 2011, Pete has managed numerous large-scale commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects throughout Eastern, Central, and Western Pennsylvania.

Pete oversees the management of active construction projects, focusing on The Waterfront project in Allentown, PA.

James Mehnert

James Mehnert

Mr. James Mehnert joined the Jaindl Enterprises team in 2018. Born and raised on Long Island, Mr. Mehnert has a range of diversified accounting experience, working primarily with engineering firms before assuming his current role. Recognizing the superior quality of life offered in the Lehigh Valley, Mr. Mehnert and his wife relocated to the area and currently reside with their daughter in Allentown. An avid baseball fan, Mr. Mehnert has visited more than forty-five baseball parks across the United States.

Mr. Mehnert holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from SUNY Albany and a master’s degree in Accounting from SUNY Old Westbury.

Quentin Sowers

Quentin Sowers

Mr. Quentin Sowers joined the Jaindl Enterprises team in 2021. With a background in food manufacturing, distribution, and construction, and utilities, Mr. Sowers contributes a new range of specialized experience in accounting-based roles. Mr. Sowers lives in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania, and is an avid musician and college football fan.

Mr. Sowers holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Widener University.

Mark W. Jaindl

Mark W. Jaindl is an entrepreneur, developer, banker, and philanthropist. Mr. Jaindl started his career with his father in the family business, where he worked as Chief Financial Officer. In 1996, Mr. Jaindl founded American Bank., a $700 million commercial bank, where he continues to serve as President, CEO, and Chairman. In 2011, Mr. Jaindl co-founded Jaindl Enterprises, a vertically integrated portfolio of family-owned companies based in Allentown, PA.

In addition to his business ventures, Mr. Jaindl volunteers his time as a board member and leader of multiple nonprofits throughout eastern Pennsylvania, including Camelot For Children, America On Wheels, and Good Shepherd Rehabilitation.

Chief Operating Officer / EVP

Zachary J. Jaindl

Mr. Zachary J. Jaindl is a businessman and philanthropist responsible for establishing cross-company synergies and maximizing efficiencies through innovation. As Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Jaindl Enterprises, Mr. Jaindl manages portfolio operations, real estate acquisitions, operations financing, project leasing, and general management of each division and their respective departments.

Since co-founding Jaindl Enterprises in 2011, Zachary has overseen each of the portfolio’s brands’ operational start-up, managed millions of dollars in real estate development and redevelopment efforts, and personally directs The Waterfront project: a $350 million lifestyle development along the Lehigh River’s western banks.
