Charles Moyer, famed Allentown real estate developer, banker, and City Councilman began to design and build his home at 1522 W Linden Street in Allentown, PA in 1915. At the time, Allentown’s West Park had just opened and quickly became one of the city’s most prominent districts. Mr. Moyer drew inspiration from Mission Style architecture and built what would later be known as the Moyer Mansion along Allentown’s Linden Street.

Jaindl Properties purchased the home in 2015 and quickly began restoration efforts to salvage the property. The home’s antique hardwood floors were fully restored, while its wood paneling was sanded down and refinished to restore its original grandeur. Hess Chandeliers were purchased and hung in the property to reintroduce Old Allentown to its historic hallways. Central air was discreetly installed to offer modern conveniences, while dated and unsafe utilities were completely removed and new systems installed to ensure the property stands for another century.
