Shimer House

1519 W Hamilton was purchased in 2011 and underwent a twenty-eight-month restoration to restore the classic Hamilton Street property to its original grandeur. Named “The Shimer Mansion” after its original owner, Alexander Shimer, the property boasts a stunning stone façade, original inlaid hardwood floors, hand-carved wood paneling throughout, and a range of classic light fixtures. During its restoration, the property was discreetly equipped with state-of-the-art utility systems, IT infrastructure, and a host of modern amenities required for the modern workplace.

Jaindl Enterprises, including Jaindl Properties and other affiliated companies, adopted the property as its headquarters after its completed restoration in 2013.
